Martin Harris, the photographer from my wedding, took Mac's newborn pictures on September 19th. He is such an amazing photographer who is close to our hearts. We are lucky to have Martin captured such important moments in our lives!

3 Months
Mac is 3 months old today! He is growing so much and is getting so strong. He is now pushing off of you with his legs while you are holding him. He also stays upright for a little while if he is propped up. He loves watching football and will stretch his neck around just to see it on tv. He has also learned that he needs to have a loud voice to survive in this family and is starting to coo and "talk" a lot. I wish I could say that he is also experimenting with rolling over, but I'm not sure if he is put down enough to even start trying. We do make sure to get in some "tummy time" though. Here are some of his 3 month pictures!

2 months
Mac turned 2 months old on September 20, 2009, which was a pretty big week for us. His Daddy and his Grammie had their birthdays on September 22nd! Mac also had his newborn pictures taken on September 19th. I can't wait to see the pictures. Those will definitely be posted when I receive them! Enjoy some of Mac's 2 month pics!

Mac Scott is here!!!
I'm just starting this blog, but wanted to cover what's been happening in our lives over the past couple of months. God blessed me and Scott beyond measure on July 20, 2009 at 8:42 pm with a 7 pound 10 ounce healthy baby boy. Undescribable joy and love instantly entered our lives when we first heard his amazing, little cry. Truly, our cup runneth over!
feels like I am electrically charged when I hold him and he looks in my eyes. There may be no greater role in life than to bring God glory by being a mother to one of his most beautiful creations! As parents, we tend to worry about so many different things when it comes to our children. I find so much comfort in the following scripture:
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well... All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
